Beyonce Knowles Carter, Grammy Award-winning artist and founder of the Beyonce Knowles Carter Foundation, will donate $2.5 Million through her foundation for fire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
BeyGood Foundation launched its L.A. Fire Relief Fund on Sunday in response to the devastation that has swept across the region.
The foundation shared a message on Instagram saying “Los Angeles, we stand with You.” “The fund will be used to help families who have lost their homes in Altadena/Pasadena, as well as churches and community centers to meet the immediate needs of those affected by wildfires.”
Wildfires that began on Jan. 7 have caused a lot of destruction. At least 24 people were killed.
The fires have spread due to high winds, destroying thousands of homes, buildings, and even Knowles-Carter’s mother’s Malibu home.

Tina Knowles, who shared the news of the fire that destroyed her home on Instagram, said: “God bless all the brave men & women in our Fire Department for risking their lives in dangerous circumstances.”
“I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose everything that you have worked so hard to earn and to acquire.” “My heart and prayers are with you all.”
Knowles-Carter is not the only celebrity who has sent aid to those impacted by the fires. Halle Berry, an actress from Beverly Hills, has donated “her entire closet” to the home goods store +Coop.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who posted on Instagram that she had donated $1 million to the relief efforts and was in contact with Gov. Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and Sen. Adam Schiff are all Democrats who will help to determine the most urgent needs.
