David Weiss was appointed as Special Counsel by Attorney General Merrick G. Garland to investigate first son Hunter Biden’s business dealings, non-payment of taxes, and gun law violations. He issued a blistering, scathing report on Friday, which the Department of Justice transmitted to Congress Monday evening.

Weiss slammed President Biden for questioning motives in the investigation, and for pardoning his son controversially despite many promises that he would not do so.

David Weiss, a Special Counsel, blasted President Biden for his “wrong and unfair” characterizations about the investigation of his son Hunter Biden. He also admitted that the pardon granted by the president made it “inappropriate to discuss” whether additional charges were warranted against the first-born son.

Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee (R-KY), reacted to the report on social media by saying that it proves what everyone already knows: Joe Biden is corrupt.

The Tweet continues:

The Special Counsel is prevented from holding Hunter Biden responsible for the international influence-peddling racket that Joe Biden made possible. The Biden DOJ never intended to prosecute the Biden Crime Family. The House Oversight Committee investigation into the Bidens influence peddling scheme revealed that Joe Biden was aware of, participated in, and benefited from the family’s cashing-in on the Biden brand.

Two brave whistleblowers Gary Shapley, and Joseph Ziegler, exposed the DOJ’s misconduct, and politicization, in the Hunter Biden criminal case, and said they were not allowed to follow evidence that might have led them to Joe Biden. Joe Biden’s last weeks as president will be remembered because he used them to protect his son and shield himself from the law. “The president’s legacy will be the same as that of his family’s corrupt business dealings.”

The special counsel did not hold back in criticizing the lame-duck president who will, thankfully, soon be removed from office.

Weiss, who wrote the report, criticized President Biden’s Dec. 1, 2024, decision to grant his “Full & Unconditional Pardon”, covering almost eleven years of conduct. This included conduct related to two convictions obtained by the special counsel.

Hunter Biden has been found guilty of three felonies involving firearms, resulting from the investigation by Special Counsel David Weiss. The first son also faces federal tax crimes for failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes. Hunter Biden entered an unexpected guilty plea before his trial.

The charges could result in a maximum of 17 years in prison. The sentencing date was set for December 16th, but President Biden pardoned his son on all charges.

George Washington University Professor of Law Jonathan Turley called the report “hard-hitting”:

“Other Presidents have pardoned their family members. However, none of them have used the opportunity to malign public servants in the Department of Justice solely based on false allegations. “…

Weiss also claimed that Biden’s criticism of the DOJ and the special counsel was “wrong”.

Weiss, in the report, blasted the president’s decision to pardon but also the press release that was sent out to the public that “criticized the prosecution of his son as ‘selective,’ ‘unfair,’ ‘infected’ by ‘raw politics,’ and a ‘miscarriage of justice.'”

Weiss stated in his report that “this statement is gratuitous, and it’s wrong.” “Other Presidents have pardoned their family members. But none of them have used the opportunity to malign public servants in the Department of Justice solely based on false allegations.”

Just one more nail to the coffin for Joe’s tainted reputation. Just seven more days in this circus.

The 20th of January can’t arrive soon enough.
